What the room feels like

BrewTrace is intentionally dim — espresso-toned walls, low pendant light over the bar, and a cupping table at the back where lot sheets are pinned each week. Conversation volume stays moderate; we do not broadcast music above conversational level.

Order at the bar, take a seat, and we bring drinks when ready. Lot cards sit on each table so you can cross-reference the code on your cup with origin notes. If you want a guided tasting, ask any barista on shift — they run through the sheet rather than improvising marketing copy.

Groups of six or more should email ahead so we can reserve the long table near the window. Private tasting bookings for up to twelve guests are available outside public hours — use subject "Private tasting enquiry" on our contact form.

First visit?

If you are new to trace-style service, start with the lot marked "entry" on the board — usually our most approachable washed espresso. Tell the barista how you normally drink coffee (milk, black, sweetened) and they will suggest a pull or pour rather than reciting the entire menu.

Reusable cups earn a $0.50 discount. We sell a branded KeepCup at the retail shelf if you forgot yours.
