This Cookie Policy explains how BrewTrace Pte. Ltd. ("BrewTrace", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on brewtrace.pro (the "Site"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. By continuing to browse after interacting with our cookie banner, you consent to the use of cookies as described below, except where you choose to reject non-essential categories.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences, keep sessions secure, and understand how pages are used. Similar technologies include local storage (used on our Site for consent records), session storage, and pixel tags. In this Policy, "cookies" refers to cookies and comparable technologies unless stated otherwise.

BrewTrace uses cookies for three broad purposes: essential operation, analytics, and marketing measurement. We do not use cookies to sell personal data. Non-essential cookies load only after you accept them via our banner or save customised preferences.

2.1 Essential cookies

These cookies are necessary for the Site to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They include:

• Consent storage (localStorage key: brewtrace_consent): remembers your cookie choices for six months so the banner does not reappear on every visit;

Essential cookies do not require consent under typical PDPA interpretations because they are strictly necessary for a service you request.

8. Cookie duration and expiry

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. The brewtrace_consent localStorage entry persists for six months from the date you save a choice, after which the cookie banner reappears so you can review preferences. Hosting provider session cookies typically expire within twenty-four hours unless otherwise noted in provider documentation.

9. First-party versus third-party

First-party cookies are set by brewtrace.pro or our hosting infrastructure. Third-party cookies may be set when your browser requests resources from external domains — for example, Google Fonts. We minimise third-party dependencies and do not embed social media widgets that track browsing across sites.

10. Specific cookies and storage keys

brewtrace_consent — localStorage, records banner choice (all / none / custom), duration: six months.
Hosting session cookies — may be set by our Singapore hosting provider for load balancing and security, duration: session or up to twenty-four hours.
Analytics cookies — if enabled via consent, set by privacy-oriented analytics tools; duration varies by provider and is disclosed before activation.

11. Mobile browsers and in-app views

Mobile Safari, Chrome for Android, and other mobile browsers offer cookie controls under privacy or site settings. In-app browsers (for example, opening links from messaging apps) may use separate storage — you may need to set preferences again in each session. 12. Impact of rejecting non-essential cookies

If you reject analytics and marketing cookies, the Site functions normally for browsing, menu reading, and contact form submission. We lose aggregated insight into which pages guests find useful, which may slow content improvements. No individual advertising profile is created in either case because we do not run remarketing campaigns on brewtrace.pro.

13. Do Not Track

Our Site does not respond to Do Not Track signals because we do not engage in cross-site behavioural advertising. Essential and preference storage will still operate to deliver core functionality.

14. Relationship to the PDPA

15. Server logging

Even when cookies are blocked, our web server may log IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamp for security and troubleshooting. Server logs are covered in our privacy policy rather than this cookie policy, but we mention them because guests sometimes ask whether "reject all" stops all technical data collection — it does not stop essential server logging required to deliver pages.

16. Cookie audit and future features

We review cookies set by brewtrace.pro at least once per year and whenever we change hosting, analytics, or form providers. If we introduce booking widgets, embedded media, or new analytics tools, we will update this page and the banner text before those features go live, describing each new cookie by name, provider, purpose, and retention period.
